For attorneys & professionals
Attorney referrals & co-counsel.
Send us the case with confidence: your client is taken care of, you stay informed, and your referral fee is honored under Rule 1.5.1 — in writing.
Why refer here
Your name rides on every referral. We treat it that way.
When you refer a client, you are lending the relationship you built. Here is exactly what happens to it.
- Same-day contact. Referred clients are called the same business day whenever possible, always within 24 hours, and you are told the intake outcome either way.
- Referral fees in writing. Fee divisions are honored under California Rule of Professional Conduct 1.5.1: written agreement between counsel, written client consent, and no increase in the client's total fee. Confirmed at intake, not negotiated at the end.
- Updates at every milestone. Filing, mediation, significant offers, resolution. You will never learn how your referral ended from the client.
- Your client comes back to you. Referred clients are returned for any future needs in your practice areas. This only works when it runs both ways.
- Fast, honest declines. If the matter is outside what we handle or the case has a fatal problem, you hear it immediately, with time to place it elsewhere. Close statutes get same-day review.
- Attorney-handled, start to finish. One California-licensed attorney works every file personally. Errors-and-omissions coverage is maintained; details available to referring counsel on request.

What to send
Cases we accept on referral.
Personal injury
Auto, truck, motorcycle and rideshare collisions, pedestrian and bicycle injuries, premises liability, dog bites, and wrongful death. Disputed-liability and UM/UIM matters welcome.
Lemon law
Song-Beverly repurchase and replacement claims, new and used vehicles, including EV defect matters. Fee-shifting makes these efficient referrals at any case size.
Employment
Wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and misclassification. Single-plaintiff matters; confidential intake for currently employed clients.
Co-counsel and trial-counsel arrangements are also available on injury matters — keep your client and associate us for litigation, on terms set out in writing.
Common questions
Referral questions.
Do you pay referral fees?
Yes. Referral fees are honored in full compliance with California Rule of Professional Conduct 1.5.1: the division is set out in writing, the client consents in writing at or near the time of the agreement, and the client's total fee is never increased because of the division. Terms are confirmed in writing at intake so there is no ambiguity later.
How fast will my client hear from you?
Referred clients are contacted the same business day whenever possible, and always within 24 hours. You are copied on the intake outcome, and told promptly if the matter is declined so you can place it elsewhere without losing time.
Will you keep me informed on the case?
Yes. Referring counsel receive status updates at every significant milestone — filing, mediation, significant offers, resolution — and can call the handling attorney directly at any time.
Will you try to keep my client?
No. Referred clients are returned. If your client later needs work in an area you handle, they are sent back to you. Referral relationships only work when they run both ways.
What if the case has a problem — a close statute, disputed liability, prior counsel?
Send it anyway. Close-deadline matters get same-day attention, and you get a fast, honest answer either way. A quick no with time to act is worth more than a slow maybe.

Send the case.
Use the form, or just call (310) 598-9614. Either way you get same-day confirmation, and your fee agreement follows in writing.
Please do not include privileged detail in the first message. A name, number, case type and incident date are enough to start the conflict check.
